However, would somebody tell me why, on TVG, this is the only horse that is being constantly advertised (Dont know what other word to use) for stud--honestly it is getting on my nerves---I dont get it- every time there Is a p...

Re: Across the pond

Enable so brave kept fighting to the end- would not let Crystal Ocean get by. Great race by both horses. Her stiffest challenge yet and the great mare prevailed. I noticed Frankie kind of pushed CO over from the 3 path over to the rail. Perhaps this helped his momentum a bit? Race of the year so fa...

Not his best piece, ever, but I always really enjoyed Jay Hovdey's writing.

He is the kind of trainer who should be run out of the sport FOREVER. It seems the rescue community and others have been reporting on his behavior for a long time. At least the CHRB are taking them seriously now. Pender Suspended 30 Days By CHRB For ‘Animal Welfare’ Violation California Horse Racin...

I can't share details due to privacy policies, but I've worked with several of Hollendorfer's horses in a medical setting and I wasn't pleased with how they were handled. Some of them got very delayed and/or neglectful care. And it was Hollendorfer who believed that Songbird was fine until Mr Porte...

Nothing wrong with Violence as a name. I've seen a lot of horses it would fit. Horses are not lap dogs. I've had them attempt to kill me. One Arab stud kicked his owner 15 feet through the stall, across to the wall of the barn and she hit about 7 feet up the wall opposite. Then he went back to scre...
