Re: Royal Ascot 2019

Show Me Show Me broke through the gate before the start of the Windsor Castle and ran down the track, when they tried to catch him he took off back towards the stalls. He finally cantered back down towards the finish line and was caught but maybe here in the UK we should think about getting outride...

Re: Horrible Names For Horses

Nothing wrong with Violence as a name. I've seen a lot of horses it would fit. Horses are not lap dogs. I've had them attempt to kill me. One Arab stud kicked his owner 15 feet through the stall, across to the wall of the barn and she hit about 7 feet up the wall opposite. Then he went back to scre...

The most positive outcome was that all of our beloved horses came home safely -- this could have certainly ended much differently.

Looks like Amandine (SHAMARDAL - KISSABLE (IRE), BY DANEHILL DANCER (IRE)) broke down in the race. Hope she can be saved. that Derby winner.... you guys are smarter than I am about this stuff - does that final time mean anything? I don't know how that track in Dubai is playing today - but it was a slow time for the distance I think. again, I am probably wrong though. Don't say that. No one is is smarter than anyone. B...

Kinda similar to the death of Sebring in Australia just a few weeks ago at the age of 13. Sometimes these things happen, but it’s still heartbreaking and sad.
The Boodhorse article states that preliminary autopsy result suggests it was a heart attack
that caused his death

So now we have almost a death every damn day-- is that going to be the acceptable norm now?

If you were a trainer and believed the rain is causing the problems with the track, would you put your horse
on that track? I am a fan, not a horseman, but just wondering.
