No Parole, who won his debut at the FG last month by 14 1/4 lengths, won there again today by 13 1/4 lengths "eased up late" over a muddy track. Wonder if they'll run him against non-LA-breds next?

4yo g Golden Birthday broke down in R10 at SA yesterday and was euthanized. He was making his tenth start. He was by Golden Balls out of Mindy’s Birthday. May he rest in peace.

Independence Hall acted up before the race, was slow out of the gate, but still won by 4 lengths. Bourbon Bay and Prince of Pharoahs dead-heated for second. All three are from their sire’s first crop (Constitution, AP, and Bayern).
