Re: Bramlage's Mongolian Groom report

https://www.breederscup.com/sites/default/files/MongolianGroomEvaluation.pdf The report from Bramlage. Believe every track has a bit of dead space within the middle of both main and training tracks where rings and straightways for trotting for lameness evaluation could be set up. Also think, small ...

I'm not concerned about his safety as a stallion in Korea, but after seeing how blasé the Korean racing industry is about how they dispose of the 90% of their horses that aren't at the elite level... bleh. His progeny better be fast.
Exactly.

Re: Stallion News

The plane carrying California Chrome and his buddy, Alan Sherman, landed safely in Sapporo, Japan a little while ago. He now faces another 30 days of quarantine before going to his new home. I was taken aback with my sadness in seeing pics of him in Japan. But he is gone, hopefully for his best out...

It would be a damn shame for another stud farm to have to go the haras barlavento route and have to close their doors because of another attack
Sounds like those involved with the ownership want to flee the country.

Re: Stallion News

Alan Sherman announced today that he is going to accompany Chrome to Japan. Taylor Made is making that possible. In recent months we've seen some wonderful photos and videos of Alan visiting Chrome at Taylor Made. The bond between that horse and Alan is something special. Where have you seen pics a...

Re: California Chrome to Japan

Let me first say that I have great respect for the Japanese and their culture. I worked most of my career for Nissan and then Toyota at their national headquarters in the Los Angeles area before each company moved their HQ to other states. Let me also say that I fully understand the business aspect...

Subterfuge. Does not change the fact the industry is toxic from within and no one has the balls to truly rut out the cancerous tumors that are everywhere. Blaming PETA or anyone else, for that matter, for stunning slow responses by the industry to remove the tumors is getting a bit long in the tooth.

Are they? I think people have a really negative opinion of racing without PETA's help. I don't see what they're doing to hurt racing so badly in social media at the moment FInding a horse dumped in the wrong part of a landfill isn't the absolute worst thing, unless you combine it with multiple (and...

Re: Tragedy hits Santa Anita again

You gotta stop enabling the problems of this sport and ragging on people who want it better. If you don't think anything will change or the public at large won't care, that's fine and not wrong. But people being sick of it isn't a bad thing. Agreed times 1000!. Enough of the public apparently does ...
