Re: Keeneland January

Tizso was bought by a lady I know, Michelle Crawford of Crawford Racing. Her and her husband are known more in the Standardbred world, but they have owned El Deal and Shancelot. Michelle is very into horse aftercare and she said Tizso will be pensioned after having her foal I saw someone share her ...

Re: Keeneland January

I suppose it is early (as the foal hasn't dropped yet) but do they plan to race the foal? I understand if it's a filly they'll keep her regardless but would they sell a colt? If she does have a colt, it wouldn’t surprise me if they raced it. They have a retirement field for their geldings that they...

Re: 2020 Three-Year-Olds

Don’t think he’ll be a Derby horse, but maybe a good sprinter. Merchants of Cool broke his maiden very impressively at Turfway, winning by a little over 10 lengths going 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.05 for trainer Wesley Ward

Has anyone checked out the Foal Patrol mares yet this year? Anything interesting/exciting soon or are we going to be waiting awhile?

First one due isn’t due until Valentine’s Day so there’s still a bit of a wait before anyone does anything

Awesome that Dixiana has another dam of a GR 1 winner. Tom’s D’Etat ran awesome and I didn’t think he was going to win when he was further back than normal. I’ll have to give Julia a mint and extra scratches tomorrow.

Is there a way to find out if a filly has been retired and bred other than word of mouth from connections? I’m trying to find out if Spring Lily has been retired. Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Midcourt just won the Gr 3 Native Diver. He’s a son of Gr 1 winner Mayo On the Side. Glad to see Mayo’s last foal seems to be a good one since she passed last year. I had the pleasure of working with him as a foal.

Has he been sold to stand over there or is he on a lease like The Factor? Boy the Chromies are about to be very angry  The article makes it sound as if he's been sold.
