Does War Front have special shoes on in the front? His hooves look strange to me for some reason.

Re: 2019 Eclipse Awards-Predictions?

Im extremely disappointed that Midnight Bisou got left off. Her season was fantastic! How many others have 4 G1 wins, 1 G2, and 2 G3 wins and 2nd in a G1 in 2019. I feel like getting 2nd in the Distaff was not a reason to toss her out of contention.

California Chrome’s Half Brother Fort McHenry Tries Stakes Company At Gulfstream https://www.paulickreport.com/news/triple-crown/california-chromes-half-brother-fort-mchenry-tries-stakes-company-at-gulfstream/ He has been gelded. I am sort of shocked that he was gelded (being sired by Tapit) while ...

Re: New Stallions of 2020

I assume that they are banking on his pedigree (Solomini). He is sired by Curlin and out of a half-sister to Midshipman and the dam of Frosted. I think he fits right in with Loaban, Central Banker and Teuflesberg at the farm.

I know that this is delayed but I hope she has amazing babies! I had the pleasure of meeting her in Saratoga, and she is seriously the biggest sweetheart. She loves being loved on.

Re: California Chrome to Japan

There is one thing to be sad about your favorite horse being sent where you cannot visit them, it's another to degrade the country that is buying them, threaten the old owners, etc. I'd be more considerate of their emotions if they actually were rational in their reactions and didn't act as though h...

Re: California Chrome to Japan

On Facebook Taylor Made has been nicknamed Traitor Made...when will the crazies give it a rest? The farm has done absolutely nothing WRONG except that they accepted an offer I predicted would be coming along soon in Chromes career...when the horse FIRST went to stud I predicted that he was going to...

Re: California Chrome to Japan

It seems like a good move, I'm sure he will be very well supported in Japan! (I hope the craziness with his fans is kept to a minimum, he will have a nice home.) Oh, they are out with pitchforks on FB. Basically, Taylor Made ruined the whole racing industry with this move because they sold the #1 a...

Re: California Chrome to Japan

Has he been sold to stand over there or is he on a lease like The Factor? Boy the Chromies are about to be very angry  The article makes it sound as if he's been sold. They state they purchased him. I'm personally not to surprised...but I think I'm going to have to bury my head in the sand and...

https://www.horseracingnation.com/news/Stallion_California_Chrome_purchased_by_Japanese_interests_123# With the way his foals were selling to Japanese buyers recently, I wondered how soon it would be before we saw this news. With him being a G1 winner on turf and dirt, it doesn't surprise me at all ...

I assume that people are acting like they own her because they took the 'People's Horse' thing literally and believe they do own her. I hope she makes a lovely riding horse for somebody and glad they aren't pushing her into something she wouldn't be successful at.

I think Bricks and Mortor with his 5 G1s and perfect 6 for 6 season gets Horse of the Year. Mitole did have a fantastic season though!
