Well I was minding the rule about "if you can't say something nice", but I will go ahead and say I have always hated that photo. The Biscuit looks absolutely knackered in it. The photo always makes me wonder what sacrifices that horse had to make to get those last wins. Wasn't Sea Biscuit the horse ...

Beautiful story and kudos to Don Buckner for giving this horse the chance to go to a good home vs trying to make the last dollar out of him. Knowing how many times horses change hands on the way down is very sad. No wonder so many of them at auctions are complete basket cases.
Just saw BB posted a pic of taco on facebook. He looks very cute, but not really a wow factor. I can't post a link with this phone, sorry. Anyone know how the other Curlin colt is doing?
That'll be a fun race. With Orb and others plucked away recently it's nice to see some running being done, even if a smashing victory is not 100% certain (since when has that been of top importance in entering a horse race?). Ditto!! And I appreciate owners that continue to run healthy, happy horses.
