Re: 2019 Fillies + Mares

I hope that there are more folks around here watching this fine filly. Late Night Pow Wow won her 9th in a row yesterday, and would be 12 for 12 if she had not just missed in a race last April. Really fun to watch. www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/232129/late-night-pow-wow-digs-in-to-win-ba...

Re: 2019 Foals

If there is interest in me figuring it out, perhaps someone can outline a quick tutorial on the proper steps to post photos? My technologically adept daughter is unavailable. OK, here goes - instructions received from Ballerina quite some time back: Save the pictures you want to your computer pictu...

Re: 2019 Foals

I'm sure the fault lies in something i'm doing wrong. It actually appears in my post as I see it, so that gave me hope I was doing it right, but who knows. If there is interest in me figuring it out, perhaps someone can outline a quick tutorial on the proper steps to post photos? My technologically ...

Maybe it's just me, and I'm no professional, but I like the casual shot better. :-p
Me too, but either way, he's a nice looking animal.

Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

Congrats might have a good son in Harvey Wallbanger . Upset the Holy Bull. So, what are we supposed to do with this result and any of the horses behind the two longshots in a relatively slow race (85 Beyer)? Mihos (to me), looked completely confused out there, and I'm willing to give him a pass goi...

Re: Ken Ramsey

I was thinking you might be on the list? My partner and I both have full-time jobs. Racing is a very expensive hobby and not remotely an avenue pursued for primary income. Not when we started over a decade ago, and certainly not now. I understand this completely (as a competitive show dog breeder)....

Re: Ken Ramsey

There's two kinds of owners. 1. Hopeful of turning a profit in racing as their primary source of income. 2. Make your money somewhere else then spending it on a hobby such as horses, boats, planes, mistresses etc. There are tons more of #2s than #1s that we ever hear anything about. Ramsey fits int...

From Sol Kumin to Ken Ramsey as well as a few others along the way, your critique of their methods, wants and desires seems strange to me, perhaps it's out of jealousy that you speak? Despite your Sherlock Holmes level powers of investigation, I don't give a flying f how anyone spends their money, ...

Another funny notion.
He still has so many he can run up to 3 maidens with different trainers in the same race. I've seen it this year.
Sounds like a profitable formula.
