Re: Money Pool for Hosting costs for a year

We reached the goal! I already paid for the hosting :D I booked back the 180 Euros to Catalina! And since we were over the top I also booked back some money to Ridan Remembered and to the last member who donated after that. Thank you so much guys! I attached a screenshot of Paypal transactions. :) (...

Re: Money Pool for Hosting costs for a year

Also a important heads up: I did contact Victoria about the transfer of the domain already. In case that doesn't get done by the time it runs out, it could be that the forum will be down til the registration is through for a few days. If ALL things fail with the domain transfer, I will register www....

Re: Money Pool for Hosting costs for a year

We are at 310 Euros now. Minus 180 that I will refund Catalina means we're only 70 Euros away from our goal. :D

Re: Money Pool for Hosting costs for a year

I already wrote you an email Catalina. Paypal won't let me cancel it either. :| Only option I have it to cancel the whole pool or collect it instantly and then transfer it back. I will of course transfer the 200 back to you. I won't collect it in the meantime either! The main problem is that is says...

Money Pool for Hosting costs for a year

Update: we reached the goal! Thank you so much guys. I returned the surplus on money and already paid the bill. In case the domain transfer doesn't get through in time from Victoria to me it could be that the forum will be down for a few days. If ALL things fail with the domain transfer, I will regi...

Re: Forum Hosting - Important Question

Thanks guys! I sent Victoria a message and asked her to transfer things (she owns the domain and it's registered on a different provider, it would be bad if we pay for a year of hosting and then the domain runs out). As soon as I get a heads up, I'll post the Button and then we'll see! :D

Forum Hosting - Important Question

Hi guys! It's been a year now since Victoria decided to step down from this forum and I've been the janitor ever since and kept it running, keeping the spamers at bay and all that. Nothing is ever for free, this forum costs money to host too. It's 220 US$ a year, which isn't a terribly high amount, ...

Re: Royal Ascot 2019

The main reason why they let Blue Point Start twice is because they were planning on retiring him after Ascot. So why not pick up another race to boost the resume.

Re: 1st Chad Brown - now Asmussen....

What I don't get is how the system works in the US. I never understood why there are grooms and hotwalkers. I don't want to defend anyone who underpays staff constantly. I just think that this is way complicated. Over here as a groom you muck out the stalls of your horses, bath them, walk them, you ...

Re: Santa Anita 2019

They "manage" it by racing on different surfaces in very different climates, and they use water withdrawal- which is less humane than medication- when that fails. Bleeding is a fact of equine biology, and it is inhumane to not practice prophylactic techniques against it. Once a horse bleeds, they a...

If Master Fencer ever gets a fast pace up front... he closed very nicely again, was actually surprised how well he did (again!).

Re: 2019 Preakness Stakes

Get the damn Jockey off of him, is nobody else noticing.

Actually... he looks a bit better now. Maybe he was just cramping up a bit.

Edit to say: nope! Still lame. Jesus christ... he is moving his right hind in a circle instead of straight forward.

Well War of Will is lame. Or at least off. Right hind. That.... doesn't look good. At all.
