97 BSF for Nadal.
The fractions are interesting. Very fast early of course but then a very slow 27+ quarter from 3/4 to one mile, but then when the long shot threatened him, he went faster the final sixteenth.

I haven't been around here in forever, but some of you may remember I became a published author in 2015. My first five releases were all novellas. Mischevious Alex (Into Mischief) won the Gotham over Untitled and Attachment Rate.
He was most people's pick. I was glad he won but was not overly impressed. He looked OK winning not sure it's going to get better from here but I guess we'll see soon enough.

As an Honor AP fan, I’m over the moon! I thought he might win, but his lack of recent racing caught up with him. He’s proven his ability and class - he’ll be much tougher in the SA Derby
I like him too and was also thrilled with his race.

Re: Tampa Bay Derby

Usually a 49-1 shot would win by a nose; he won like a 1-5 favorite. He clearly loves the track but he's also clearly a race horse. It will be very interesting to see what they do with him now. That was shockingly impressive.

Re: Top Ten Lists 2020 Kentucky Derby

I would put Tiz the Law on top right now, but there's a long way to go. I know he wasn't trained much for the race, but Nadal didn't scream Derby winner to me.

Re: 2019 Preakness Stakes

It appears the real winner of the race was Bodexpress! Twitter is hilarious right now, and it's nice to see some mainstream positivity. And I have to give him credit- he switched leads beautifully the whole way around! I do hope they run him in a maiden one of these days... Wow... you aren't kiddin...

I have like WoW since his Lecomte win and I'm glad he got the Preakness win!

Bodeexpress seemed to be having fun out there just doin' his thing!
I'm glad War of Will got a chance to prove himself. I've liked Bodexpress for awhile, he's a free spirit. Some horses can't be tamed.

Re: 2019 Preakness Stakes

I like Owendale. War of Will looks good too. Improbable...meh...knowing him he'll probably be 2nd or 3rd. Bourbon War looks good with the speed here but no way he'll be 12-1, more like 7-1. There's so many horses in this race capable of a 95-98 Beyer on their best day.

Maximum Security looks like the Derby Favorite unless Omaha Beach or one of the Bafferts picks it up. Horse looks very fast in a not so fast crop.
There is ZERO chance Maximum Security will be the Derby favorite.

Maximum Security is currently the 9-2 favorite.

Re: 2019 Kentucky Derby

Maximum Security could go off the favorite. It's very close between four horses so far: Improbable is the 9-2 favorite with Max Sec, Tacitus at 5-1 and Game Winner at 6-1. Roadster has drifted up to 9-1.
