Independence Hall was super impressive, receiving a 101 Beyer in winning the Nashua. Other than ducking out a bit in the stretch, he looked great as he closed the final 1/4-mile in 24 and 2. He also appears to be long in body and has Seattle Slew both top and bottom in his pedigree. The sky's the l...
And better yet, neither are the typical, precocious 2yo that's bred to go one-turn. Both of these impressive winners should relish more distance based on their respective pedigrees and running style.
Tiz the Law ( Constitution x Tizfiz ) just won the G1 Champagne in impressive fashion, finishing several lengths in front of Green Light Go. Looks like Sackatoga Stable may have another NY-bred Derby horse, although this one's still intact. :D Tiz the Law was very impressive and he's definitely bre...
No mention of Mo Hawk? The first time Baffert starter at Los Al may not have beaten much, but he was nonetheless very impressive, both the race itself and his physical appearance.

What's not being considered is that War of Will appeared to be moving well before he was impeded. It's impossible to say that without the foul he would have placed better but there is no doubt he was improving his position before Maximum Security took his path away. Agreed. If anyone had a right to...
That's the point. Yes, the rule(s) should always be abided by, but the application thereof does not always appear uniform, or so it seems.
Agree... and with no money talking, no money lost. That horse never should have come down.
I've seen way worse in other races with no DQ.
Agreed. Watching the replay, War of Will looked like he was about to run right over top of Maximum Security's butt. It is very lucky that he didn't clip heels with him. Had he fallen right there, yikes. And that was the point... yes, they were obviously close when he came out but they didn't clip h...
