Any links for tracking in Libya?
No. They have a webpage but its never gotten to the point of being able to track any horses. The horse racing authority was established in 2013 and then the country has been in a civil war since early 2014.
Thanks, Flanders.

Re: He may be able to save lives: the disease that claimed empire maker

I wonder if possible exposure to radiation while in Japan might have contributed to his condition? From the tsunami caused damage to the nuclear plant contamination episode?

Re: Bramlage's Mongolian Groom report

The PDF of the final report included images of a sound leg/hoof and MG's. Also detailed description of the various exams that were noted as concerns by different veterinarians.

Re: De Coronado in Libya?

This farm appeared to bring in horses that were auctioned later. That was why I asked if he was originally sold to them, then possibly resold. He was listed in a sale the fall of 2017 in the UK, then pulled. He then showed up with Miss Sam and her partner. He must not have worked for them because he...

Re: De Coronado in Libya?

Follow up. This has been a high risk area for months. From another story published in June 2019. "Bombing is already reported to have left one thoroughbred dead and others injured. Ashaab reported by email: "Unfortunately the horses were displaced and died because the areas and cities that are fight...

Re: De Coronado in Libya?

Reading the full brother to Zenyatta was sold to Libya. Does anyone know anything about TB breeding and racing in that area? Any follow up after the sale on the condition of that beautiful horse and the people who care for him? Libya is in a war right now and has been for years. The racing industry...

Re: In Memoriam 2019

Were the stallions in Peru there on loan or owned by the farm? I read on and it looks like a lease. The Bloodhorse story reported one broker who said this will impact shuttling because insurance companies won't insure the horses. The armed men must have been strong. And have a sense of what they wer...

Tragic and so frightening. No word in the story about the animals, but the one man is in an induced coma with burns. https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/austral ... li=AAgfIYZ

Winx

Zenyatta and Sea the Stars for their power, drive and courage. Mine That Bird for being the little horse who could. Winx for her crazy fast turn of foot.

Re: Zenyatta News

Do we know if Zenyatta was bred for a foal this year? I'm guessing not but thought perhaps her owners were kind of keeping things to themselves until everything was fine. Or not. Don't hear much anymore. Or at least not that I see. I've seen rumors only, one said she went to Candy Ride. Nothing off...

This is not good. https://tuesdayshorse.wordpress.com/2017/03/05/kentucky-legislature-setting-the-stage-for-the-slaughter-of-horses-with-sb-139/  I haven't seen this discussed much in the horse rescue/retrain/rehome community, at least the ones that I'm involved with or "friends" with on FB. ...
