Article didn't mention it but she was bred to Mshawish this year. Wonder if she got in foal.

Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Firenze Freedom broke her maiden in Belmont's sixth.

She's a half sister to Firenze Fire by Istan.

2019 Breeders Cup Classic and Watch

I figured we might as well start this thread since we're getting relatively close. While I doubt Catholic Boy, Gift Box, and Gunnevera will show up, here's the probables listed on HRN (which isn't 100% accurate but is fairly accurate) + Math Wizard. Code of Honor McKinzie Maximum Security Elate Vino...

Not too bad for American Legend. She certainly got some traffic/big field experience out of it.

Re: Older Horses - 2019

If he retired today I feel like he would probably be in the US and then shuttle to Australia. My next bet would be Japan and Australia. Japan has both dirt and turf racing like the US and their dirt races are actually graded and cared about (unlike the dirt races in Europe). Third bet is Europe, but...

Re: New Conformation Photos

Pleasant Acres shared a new conformation photo of Bucchero , but they cropped it strangely and cut some of his nose off. You can see it full throttle at his website. https://www.buccherostallion.com looks fine on my computer. maybe they made the webpage for widescreens? Maybe I worded this wrong. T...

Longonot is an attractive colt with a bright future. I assume he will go to Dubai for the racing carnival next spring.
And hopefully the US.

Papa Pyro is reported by Darley to have 78% winners from his first four crops. He dominates the dirt sires in Japan.

Re: Interesting Horses for Adoption

Sorcerer's Stone (Gulch) is available through TRACC. He won the G3 Arlington - Washington Futurity and stood for a number of years as a stallion in Louisiana. He was reportedly "moved to a private operation and then was unable to be cared for." He's gelded now, of course. This 2003 model is very in...

Re: Australian Racing

Taylor Swift has backed out of a scheduled show at the upcoming Melbourne Cup, apparently because of pressure from animal rights groups. https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/taylor-swift-cancels-australia-show-at-controversial-melbourne-cup.html/ Unsurprising. It's quite fashionable for...

New G1 winner Street Band is from what I believe is the last US crop of Istan, who was exported to Saudi Arabia in 2017.

His other progeny include Classic-placed Atigun, MGSW Istanford, and GSW Albano.

As Seen On TV (Lookin At Lucky) was second in the Smoke Glacken Stakes.

He's half to Cage Fighter, from the family of Fantasticat, and a descendant of Lotka.
