Re: 2019 Eclipse Awards-Predictions?

British Idiom will win, and while I'm not saying she's undeserving, too many voters don't really pay attention and pretty much just look at the BC ( which is why Storm the Court is almost a certain winner...not that there are a boatload of super deserving candidates ). However, I could vote for Bast...

Hating the person who spoke the truth is a disease these days.
People thinking they have the *only* truth, when they don't, is also a disease these days. ;)
The issue is more people that perpetuate lies as though they are truths, since you decided to further this.

I kind of like Pat On the Back. He's on a roll.
He was third in his last start.

Re: 2019 Eclipse Awards-Predictions?

For such a short guy, it is rather amazing how often he manages to talk down to people. This is so sad on so many levels that it's hard to know where to start. Taking a shot at my height? Really? What are you, six years old? Keep on trolling. The only one you are, apparently, fooling is yourself.

I doesn't take a lot of reading comprehension to answer the "question" posed by the OP in this thread. Yeah, he doesn't troll. :D

he's always like that. i used to try to be nice to him because he does have some informative posts i can learn from, but he basically hates everyone and i've given up. i usually have him on ignore, but sometimes show his posts anyway in hopes he's said something relevant to the topic, maybe another...

Re: The Cigar Mile

It depends on what you find surprising. I I can name that tune in one note. I think we’ve both seen enough races to not be surprised, at least not too much. If Max is on his game, he shouldn’t get beat but Spun to Run might be on a roll and be able to get him. And if Max shows some speed, spits the...

Re: Go West Young Man

Thanksgiving is a foolish day to run anyway, especially for CA, as they will get very limited simulcast dollars given the time change.

We have a great card scheduled for Thanksgiving at Aqueduct, but it won't likely do close to the business it could on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Both Bodexpress and Complexity looked outstanding today.

When a lot of good horses have retired after the Breeders' Cup it's always nice to see some new players stepping up in the ranks.
Bodexpress got a 101 Beyer as well.

So just to be clear, people here believe it is better to be ignorant than to seek information?

If that's the case, I will respectfully disagree.

on the reals, i don't know a lot about him, but maybe it's a good thing a vet is calling out the bc/sa vets? i dunno. I'm not sure why you keep telling us that you don't know who Steve Allday is, as he is about as well known a vet as there is in the game, and there is plenty of information availabl...

Re: 2019 Two-Year-Olds

Independence Hall (by Constitution) won the Remsen (G3) at Aqueduct today by 12 1/2 lengths. Nashua....the Remsen is on 12/7. This was easily the most impressive 2YO performance of the year, anywhere in North America, on any surface. It was freakishly good. You need to watch if you haven't seen thi...
