Does anyone remember Jack Van Berg's Tri Chrome?
A bit more context might help. Great-looking animal, and I feel like I SHOULD remember.

Re: Uh, Wrona was just fired

I'd read that Wrona was going to call at Kentucky Downs, although that's only a five-day boutique meet. But IIRC he also was slated to call at Oaklawn Park starting with their next meet. Will he be able to work there AND be a full-time caller at Los Al? :? LosAl is pretty much a year-round operatio...

Very seldom are behavior issues a horse problem (PARTICULARLY if they've escalated to "violent"), they are almost always people created. There are plenty of people that have horses that are beyond their skill level. Plenty of people.

And now back to racing.
Amen.

Lurker for centuries... but Gander memories got to me. He was my ID and password for everything, til I had to change! Don't know about the Winner's Circle, but it was said he delivered himself to an outrider, as all winners get to do! What a joy he was.
Welcome aboard.

Re: 2019 Preakness Stakes

oh my gosh thank you for posting that glorious win by dear Gander!! what a smart horse - he rode a perfect race - didn't bother anyone, stalked the leader - and knew when to make his move for the lead - one of my most favorite races ever! I remember watching it live and could not stop smiling after...

HAS to be AP. No other horse, not even Zenyatta, Chrome, or my beloved Kelso, ever had me in tears as Pharoah did during his Belmont run.

I know there were some stray grey hairs beginning to show on his face and in his tail, but when he was sprinting down the Ascot green, he sure looked black. ;) :D Blackity-black...
