I’m happy about the Tacitus news. He deserves the chance to grow into himself more and show what he’s really made of in 2020. I suspect he might be another Gun Runner/Accelerate in the making.

Re: Across the pond

Highly doubt she’s going to the BC. She’s had a tough season unlike last year where the Arc was just her 2nd race and she practically peaked in the BC. I reckon she’s done for the year and I would be shocked to see her race on at 6.

I’m feeling nervous ill. Come on Enable!!

Last time I felt this nervous about a race was 10 years ago when Sea The Stars contested this race. I hope history repeats itself!

Recently retired Prince of Wales’ winner Crystal Ocean has been sold to Coolmore to stand as a National Hunt sire?!?! With that pedigree?? Shocked is an understatement

Code of Honor might just take the 3yo honours should his fine form continue into the BC! How long has it been since a male 3yo who hadn't won a TC race won the Eclipse award? Vino Rosso was dead game today, even though he did hamper Code of Honor who for a 3yo was very professional and game as well...

The Uncle Mo filly Donna Veloce just cruised to win her debut by 10 lengths at SA. Sold for $450K as a yearling, $800K as a 2yo. Out of a Montjeu mare,so she can probably run all day.
She displayed a wonderful turn of foot, even if the jock didn't have to ask for it :)

Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Donna Veloce (Uncle Mo/Coin Broker) broke her maiden impressively at SA. Her 2nd dam is BC Juvenile Fillies winner and expensive auction purchase Cash Run. That was quite a run! Broke beautifully and settled into a nice lead. Then at the top of the stretch she just kicked into another gear and was ...

Re: G2 Beldame

Looked like Wow Cat was going better of the two at the top of the stretch but then Midnight Bisou just went 'na-ah!' and kicked clear! 7 for 7 this year, she has some strong credentials for HOTY! Bricks and Mortar will definitely give her a race for it though.

Va Bank (Archipenko) won Poland's Triple Crown in 2015. He's owned by Team Valor.
There’s been a couple of winners since then as well but the names escape me now.

Re: Older Horses - 2019

At this rate, Midnight Bisou should just shoot for the classic. Heck, Bricks and Mortar might have a shot in that race!

HOTY will come down to those 2 I think and I’m pretty sure Bricks and Mortar will win it.

Re: Horses with good amount of images

People always used to gush over a horse called Honor Code, a very pretty dark bay. Another pretty horse I can think of is So You Think, an Australian superstar that moved to the UK and had tons of success. Both won and raced frequently at the top level and there’s plenty of photos of them out there....

Re: Across the pond

Crystal Ocean has been retired after suffering a severe injury on the gallops today. I can't access racingpost.com at work, which I'm sure is more in depth, but it appears he fractured a cannon bone and required two screws and surgery. They are optimistic that he'll recover and become a stallion. h...
