Great return for Vekoma! Though the way he runs is just so odd.

Re: What Race Got You Into This?

If anyone follows Racing Tales on Twitter (and you definitely should cause they’re awesome!), they recently posted a replay of the BC Classic 2000, the camera work in the stretch is great and it really makes it thrilling, puts you in the race and really gives you a sense of what speed they’re going ...

Re: Claiborne Farm Virtual Stallion Tour

Just watching the live now, it's interesting to see how much they believe in Runhappy, it really sounds like they think he'll be the next big thing. I wonder if anyone on here has seen in person or owns a Runhappy foal? Do you guys think they will make a big splash this year?

They forgot they said they were going to do this I guess or it never showed they were live streaming to me. Anyone watch it?
It’s up on their Instagram account currently, says it was streamed 1 hour ago.

Re: 2020 Grand National Cancelled

And there it is, all British racing cancelled until at least the end of April. That means the 2000 Guineas, ran at the beginning of May and the first classic of the flat season, might also be at risk of being cancelled or postponed.

Re: Kentucky Derby and the Coronavirus

Looks like Justify broke the Apollo curse on the Derby, only to impose another.

Any confirmation as to how the points system will work now? And whether the Oaks will also be moved to September or cancelled altogether?

2020 Grand National Cancelled

ITVRacing
@itvracing
The Grand National has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic

Gutted but it’s the right choice. I understand why they wouldn’t run it without spectators.

Re: What Race Got You Into This?

The first recollection of being super interested in a race was the 2008 King George when Kauto Star won his 4th King George. Then I remember watching the 2009 Epsom Derby and I was hooked on following Sea The Stars. His Arc remains my favourite race ever. When they mentioned the Breeder’s Cup as his...

The post position draw (25th), Breakfast with the Stars and Welcome Reception (26th) have been cancelled. Slightly unrelated but Mikel Artera, head coach of top flight English Pr...

Clip him and send him to join Point Given, Da Hoss, Funny Cide, and Go for Gin at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Maybe he'll make for a good public attraction.

Nobody on the breeding end needs his business.
Time to end the story.
I agree

Re: Maximum Security's stud fee

I think Coolmore will either send him to stud somewhere in South America or they will stand him privately for a couple of seasons to see how his foals pan out and indeed if they have any talent at all.

Re: Foals of 2020

New Money Honey has been taken to a clinic for proactive care just in case of foaling issues. The vet sees no issues but to be on the safe side, she was moved. I am relieved. Blessings for a safe delivery for both mare and foal. I'm glad. She looked SO uncomfortable last night and you could tell th...

Matt Hegarty
@DRFHegarty
Gary West, in a statement sent late last night, said Maximum Security will be sent to Bob Baffert.

So it’s confirmed then. I’m honestly surprised but curious to see how this turns out now.
