Hard to believe Coltandmississippi in for a tag in Bel6 today. I understand he's been mediocre since the derby trail but he seems like a good stallion prospect. His dam Selva had a strong career.
Why all the hype on Hidden Scroll anyway? His dam wasn't much. His siblings weren't much. It's amazing that his jocks and post positions were ever a point of contention for a horse with one maiden win. Wow.

I'm not a fan of speed in this race. Like Tessablue says Gunnevera closes consistently and there will be enough speed to set him up. He didn't really train hard into Fla. Derby ran his race and Classic Empire will still be an underlay in my book. Throw in the Hoist The Flag line which I love so I'm ...
Glad to see another speed horse to set up Gunnevera. Was kinda hoping McCraken would win to take more money on Derby day. Looks like Churchill works will be key this year.
It makes you wonder if Lani had a different rider the 1,3,5,6 tri box may have paid a whole lot better. In recalling past Breeders' Cups Take doesn't seem to have a great U.S record.
Cathryn Sophia got to the leader and stopped running in the Ashland similar to Mohaymen went up to Nyquist and stopped running. I'm sure Somnambulist would agree with me if I was female.
Mohaymen pretty much the male equivalent to Cathryn Sophia being undefeated until his last race. Don't know if that's good or bad but as far as handicapping I know that Haskin and Watchmaker are both bad.
