Re: Money Pool for Hosting costs for a year

I haven't posted in forever but I lurk a lot for news and such, I'm trying to donate but the page is telling me the server isn't responding.

Edit: Got it to work.

Re: 3yos of 2018

Not a particularly huge fan of Asmussen (not a non-fan either, no strong opinions at all), but I am a big fan of this horse and happy to see him getting a bigger chance! Re: In memoriam 2017

Ok, my bad. We were on the opposite end of the grandstand and someone behind us said it was Geroux! I did then hear them mention him for the Million so that didn't seem right. Not happy that it was anyone

Re: In memoriam 2017

Unless we missed another breakdown here it was actually the 5, Gorgeous Kitten with Geroux up. They took Geroux off on a stretcher but announced that he was "sitting up, active, and talking."

Re: Derby 2016: Who's on your ticket?

I have wins on 1, 2, 8, 9 and an ex box on 13-5-11 and 13-9-3.

I'm abandoning my mud picks at this point.

I totally admit that I'm superstitious, but I hope they never send Z back to War Front, they are 0-for-2 with him now!

They better never send her back to War Front! That dude is bad news for her (the filly was also a War Front).

Re: PREAKNESS STAKES Gr1, $ 1 Million, 1 3/16th Miles, 3

I respect a horse that doesn't need a fast track to win, I think he does it in 3 weeks (and not just because I want a TC soooo badly).

Re: The Derby Picks and Analysis Thread

Fongool. If not for Firing Line I would have made something. He ruined all my exotics. I need to learn something from the pundits. Guys, Andy, Horsebagger, somebody... tell me what you liked about this horse because I just couldn't see it prior to the race. All the others in the top 4-5 spots I had...

Firing Line

The only horse to come close to challenging Dortmund (twice!), and then he came back with a track record in the Sunland Derby. Ironically, I don't think Dortmund will win if Firing Line doesn't, though.

I actually can't pick just one, but for the purposes of this thread that's my choice.

Re: How to increase racing revenues?

My advice would be to stop treating everyone the same. Use a players card like the casinos do. Then they would know who plays big and who comes to watch. The bigger the player, the bigger the perks. Start with a free program or DRF. Next level may be a $10 voucher for food. All the way up to free e...

Re: What is all this really about?

I always was under the impression that it's the jockeys only. You show me any track where Baffert could call up the stewards and talk with them... "trainers must claim foul directly to the Stewards via telephone." That is straight from the Texas Racing Commission trainer's study guide (first refere...

That filly was something else. http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/videos/13461/zenyatta-champion-mother I made the terrible decision to watch it at work!! I still can't believe how mu...

Re: 2014 Breeders' Cup News & Notes

Read an article on Bloodhorse which sort of promoted Zivo as the possible sleeper in the Classic, I can see him firing big when it counts. His JCGC reminded me of Drosslemeyer who of course went on to win the Classic. On the other hand, my heart is with Chrome! I read the same article and I'm kind ...
