Did you know Winx ran fifth in the G1 Vinery Stakes on 3-28-15 the day Justify was foaled? Winx won the G3 Sunshine Coast Guineas on 5-16-15, and has won 27 straight. She cruised in Saturday's G1 George Main Stakes. One horse is a worldwide star, the other is off to stud. #drf

Another day, another group I score for Winx.

The announcer made me laugh though: "Winx being pushed along! But that's quite usual, I suppose!"

Curious about weight....what does she carry in these G1 events and how much is she spotting her nearest rivals?

thanks.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Winx reminds me of Zenyatta in all too many ways.

Not a doubt in my mind that Zenyatta could have won the unthinkable 27 in a row without the pressure of running against the best males in the country(world).
Wonder if Sherriffs had 3 others in the barn to fill out the fields?

This is not meant to take anything away from the amazing Winx, just agreeing with Vincent who is spot-on with his remembery.

I know people get upset when somebody says this but man it sure would be nice to see Winx face outsiders instead of just Hartnell and Who Shot Thebarman.

Not a doubt in my mind that the BreedersCup committee would break every entry rule and pay for the entourage's transportation expenses to have her in the states the first week in November.

You mean maybe a horse like Highland Reel?
I don't have the list of G1 winners she has beaten over the past three years at hand, but it's NOT just Hartnell and Who Shot Thebarman. :P

I get what you're saying, however all connections know where to come and get her. That aside, she is the greatest horse on the planet.

Winx races in WFA events not a handicap so she isn't made to carry the grandstand on her back
