Well, Baffert certainly surprises by stuffing McKinzie in here and takes the blinkers off. Get the feeling this colt might be a "strike while the iron's hot" sort and might not be around for the classics in a few months.

I hope Here Is Happy runs well. Nice looking horse.

I read that Baffert is running him for more experience since he has only made 2 starts.

Right after the race TVG showed Baffert and Kaleem Shah, in the next box, chatting amiably. I had the impression that the parting was somewhat acrimonious (at least on Shah's part) but also that he wanted to be the big fish in his trainer's barn, so maybe no hard feelings.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.
