They're all good horses, but... I hope Ben's Cat gets it.

It's a tossup between Lady Eli (so courageous) and Ben's Cat (the steady warrior) for me.

I'd like to see Ben's Cat get it. Speaking of Patch, haven't heard much from him lately - on vacation?

Yes, last I heard, at Calumet being a horse. Expected to race next year.

Yeah, gotta be. Songbird, Arrogate, Gun Runner, Lady Eli all have the regular Eclipse awards to hope for. Ben's Cat was a real blue-collar kind of horse, the kind that make up the backbone of the industry.

I'd vote for Ben's Cat 1st and Lady Eli 2nd. They really fit the original intent of this award, IMHO.

I so love Gun Runner, but he'll be getting other awards. Ben deserves the honor.

I wrote in Lady Eli last year, but Ben's Cat is truly an unsung hero.

My only beef with the Vox Populi award is the fact that ultimately the judges get final say on who the award goes to.
I voted for Ben's Cat. Lady Eli would also be my second choice.

I just hate the fact that, if Ben gets the award, it's posthumously.
He should have been there in the flesh for Ben's Cat Day and for the VP Award.

I was hoping for this. Well deserved for the great Ben's Cat and Mr. Leatherbury.

Wonderful, extremely well deserved and maybe some comfort to Mr. Leatherbury and those who loved Ben. I'm delighted it was a record-breaking vote, too.
