Rail Trip retired to Old Friends.

Also, am hearing that 7yo Tuvia's Force (Mineshaft) has been retired to ReRun by his connections (Lucky Shamrock Stable/Zito).

According to @inkmarksofsu, Lord Kanaloa (JPN) has been retired. Can't find any other sources to confirm it though. If true, I'll be sad to see him go. He was my favorite overseas horse. But what a great career he has had.

Oh So Awesome is an 11yo hard-knocking gelding that had been on several watch lists because of his age, his mileage (74 starts), and the fact that he was running, mostly unsuccessfully, in bottom claimers at Beulah. Fortunately, his trainer has told Gail Hirt that he is retired and will go to Aikendale.

6yo mare Euronfire (Eurosilver) was hip #925 at KEEJan today. Three Chimneys was the consignor; Patti Davis was the buyer. For $5500. The Three Chimney handlers put a nifty new coat on her and put her back in their snazzy van -- and took her to New Vocations. (Don't know who put up what money.) She's a beauty and will eventually make someone very happy.

Thank God Oh So Awesome is retiring! I got to meet him a few trainers ago and was considering buying him- I was shocked to see he was still racing- and at Beulah of all places. To go from being in the Belmont Stakes to Beulah...Big thank you to his trainer!

G1 winner Sweet Lulu has been retired with a minor injury. She'll be a broodmare; deal pending.

Patti is going to stipend her while she's at NV; and not only did Three Chimneys gift Euronfire with a new blanket -- they put her name on it. Patti says she is totally sound, so could have any one of several careers.

Very good news. He was actually entered in a race on Monday (1/6/14), and was scheduled to run, however, good things came
into play - and now he'll be safe...

Happy retirement Oh So Awesome!

Photo from Aikindale FB page of his arrival today. They say Michael DeMent reached to his trainer and arranged for him to go to that farm.

Trainer Ed Colettii and owners have retired 6yo MAM BIRD (Dixie Union) to Turning for Home, which has sent him to Lisa Malloy. He earned >$100K in 14 starts, and is drop-dead gorgeous. I'm thinking he will not go long without a permanent home.

Oh my gosh I'm so glad he's okay. He fell and was vanned off in his last start. I thought for sure he was a goner.

That is an ugly bow. Good grief, I am glad he was retired. He was off from June 2011 to July 2013, and had 3 races in 2013- a 4th, an eased late, and a fall down on the track and vanned off.
That horse deserves a good home.
