the angry pessimistic fangirl in me asks, why? they only ever breed to deep impact or sometimes king k.

the hopeful part of me hopes he's well received and his progeny do well.

He and Drefong can talk smack over their paddock fences about who's fastest. :P :D
IMHO, the two sprinters are interesting purchases for Shadai.
Drefong was an accomplished sprinter, but his sire Gio Ponti was more of an eight to ten furlong horse. And a grass horse. He also has that Storm Cat blood through GP's sire, Tale of the Cat. That all seems good for Japanese racing.
Mind Your Biscuits's sire Posse has been a decent sire, but he ended up in South America and is not returning to NY. Sounds like he was wanted back, but crap happened? :?

MYB could end up being Posse's best son, and Shadai may have been smart to acquire him.

i often think other countries know something we don't re: them buying our stallions (and, sometimes, even our mares).
