Christophe Clement‏ @clementstable
LUBASH has been retired, as he's not showing the same interest in training. He retires sound as a 10yo & we are SO very proud of his career!

He's a handsome fellow, lolling tongue and all.
Since he's sound, I wonder if he will transition to a new career...maybe as a stable pony for Clement?

He's not a gelding, so he might go to stud somewhere.

:o
My mistake...but how often do we see 10-year-old entires?
Hope someone gives this sound son of Freud a chance at stud.

Green Mask suffers career-ending injury during workout
ELMONT, N.Y. - Green Mask, a top contender for the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint at Del Mar this fall, suffered a fractured sesamoid in his left foreleg during a workout Sunday morning at Belmont Park. The injury will end his racing career.
Green Mask, a 6-year-old gelding trained by Brad Cox for owner Abdullah Saeed Almaddah, was sent Sunday afternoon by van to the New Bolton Center in Pennsylvania, where surgeons were to operate on him.
“I think he’ll be okay, he’s obviously done as a racehorse,” Cox said by phone from Kentucky. “He was probably our best shot at a Breeders’ Cup victory to this point, but it is what it is. The main thing is to give him a shot at survival. I think it’ll happen, from what the surgeons tell us.”

Bird Song has been retired.

Being a stakes-winning son of the late Unbridled's Song and out of the champion Bird Town, I'm pretty sure he'll find a home in a nice stallion barn.
