Not surprised, now that she got the black type win to compliment her royal pedigree.

It does add- but even if she did not fire last night - don't think she would have had a problem with that blood.
Pure Symmetry was able to get to top stallions, and only got a third place in her career. Symm is a full to Sophisticat, Grand Reward, and later on, Schramsberg - which may have helped.

Warren's Venada has been retired after coming out of a workout with inflammation in a leg.

She was a very nice mare, so I have to wonder why she is going to an unproven, just OK racehorse like Clubhouse Ride.

I think he is their stallion? She is by Affirmative, who was owned by the owner I believe.
Clubhouse Ride has a better race record than a shit tonne of other stallions out there. Nice to see him get a nice mare like that, imo.

I've been waiting for this news. Stutts ran the hell out of him last year with 20+ starts, and his new trainer picked up where he left off. Felt sorry for that horse all
along, but especially after he was dumped into the wolf pit in the SA Handicap. Aside from a precious few decent efforts, he never ran well in most of his 25 starts
since last January 1st. Crimson Giant deserves a long, healthy and happy retirement. Thanks, Sparrow Castle, for this good bit of news...

Yes, this is very good news. He's had some angels watching over him. Happy retirement, Crimson Giant.

I don't have a link (yet) but they announced it on Twitter and Facebook.

I'm seeing a snippet on DRF that says, "The Grade 1 winner Moreno has been retired from racing. Again. Only this time, it’s for good."
Good.

Good.
Hopefully in good enough shape that he can at least be rehabbed to enjoy life as just a horse.

They said he was "too sore" to continue at the track, so hopefully it's nothing that some time off can't cure.

Le sigh. That workout time was incredibly fast, no wonder he's sore.
I hope he gets to just stand in a field and be a dude now. He deserves it.

I hope so very much as well. And that Guillot didn't leave it too late.
