One Lucky Dane

Anyone know where and how he is?
And Allah took a handful of southerly wind, blew His breath over it, and created the horse.... Thou shall fly without wings, and conquer without any sword. Oh, horse.

I think his owner has Mor Spirit, too. OLD seemed like a nice prospect but its been a long time with no word. :(
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Right. he was supposed to miss a couple of months after his surgery and no word or works that I have seen since.

I do hope he returns since I enjoy watching the Lookin At Luckys and he seemed like one of his more promising son's for stretching out.

I would like him to give Madefromlucky a run for his money as LAL's best son.

I was just thinking about One Lucky Dane after looking through my virtual stable. I came across this article that I thought was a bummer.

http://m.wave3.com/wave/db_371380/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=aoNLm3JC

"I’ve been pretty fortunate,” he said. “But I know (horse racing) is different. It can be over (with a horse) in one day. I had One Lucky Dane (on the Derby trail) last year and called Bob (after a second in the Santa Anita Derby) thinking he ran a good race and he told me he would never race again. So, I know it’s a tough game.”

I totally thought we'd see him again.
So where the hell is he then? Gelded and someone's horse?
