Hi everyone! So far, I've only found out that he arrived in Argentina on October 10 of last year. Will look up more when I get back from the barn tonight.

Okay, so I've not found anything more than what others found. Just the one article really about Doubles Partner being purchased by Haras San Francisco de Pilar, to stand at Haras Chenaut. Like I mentioned earlier, Studbook Argentino has him arriving in October 2014. He's not listed as covering any mares in 2014...which doesn't really bother me since it would be like a Northern Hemisphere stallion starting their breeding season in mid April (at least I'm hoping that's what happened).

The good news (a case of no news is good news) is that there is no death report for him from Studbook Argentino and they are usually pretty up to date. He is listed under the Stallions list in the Studbook and the Stallion Service agreement would have to have been filled out for that to happen.

I guess what we can do is contact Haras Chenaut, although my Spanish comprehension is limited to what I've learned from reading ElTurf, etc. Has anyone emailed the farm he was at in the US to see if they know anything?

Thanks everyone! Disappointed though. We have a mare we were interested in sending to him but Argentina would be a bit too much of a ship! Hope he's doing ok down there.

GREAT news! Apparently, Doubles Partner did stand part of the 2014 season. He was bred to 29 mares, and his first foal has been reported! Doble Ranger (ARG) is a chestnut filly foaled on August 5. She's out of the winning Kamyacho (ARG) mare Kamy Ranger (ARG). I've added her to Pedigree Query and included the link: http://www.pedigreequery.com/index.php? ... p=0&f=1&l=

Just a quick update on this guy...

He had 9 reported foals for 2016 and was bred to 8 mares for 2017. He was apparently moved from Chenault to San Francisco De Pilar at some point last year during the breeding season.

His first foals are yearlings, which will turn 2 on July 1.
