I compiled this video with some miscellaneous video that I left from my visits to Windfields Farm. I have watched it a few times, but never intending on posting it until one of my fans expressed their passion of thoroughbreds and horses as well as all things lost, this inspired me to dig out this video, so a big thank you Mika!!

This video was shot a couple of years ago, before most of the property was destroyed. If you go there now, it is almost all gone. It was filmed with my Iphone, so, yes I know its shaky and I move too fast, so please on this one spare me the criticism . I do much better now and thats really what matters :-)

Now this video contains a drive around the grounds and some small buildings that I had the chance to explore, but the most moving part is the visit to the graves of some of the top Thoroughbreds in Canadian and horse racing history.

As far as I know the graves are undisturbed, but with the way urban sprawl infects lands, you never know what the condition is 2 years later. Please visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeUVi... for a look at the effort to safe this beautiful part of Canadian History

Who owns it now? I forget.
I'm not far from there, I would love to go there and take pictures.

There's virtually nothing left to see - it's all been torn down (as it states in the original post). Hopefully, whomsoever owns the land now will leave the graveyard alone/

I think the city owns at least part of it.

There is something left to see. They've protected the "core" barn area and the cemeteries. If you look at the link I posted rather than Wikipedia, it has archives and a discussion of what is occurring with the development.
