Five Iron retired to Arkansas. $1000 fee.
Talented and good-looking boy. Hadn't raced since August 2014, worked a couple of times recently.

GEORGETOWN, KY - DECEMBER 21, 2015 - Belmont Stakes winner Touch Gold, the horse famous for denying Silver Charm the Triple Crown in 1997, has been retired to Old Friends, the Thoroughbred Retirement Center in Georgetown, KY.

Michael Blowen, founder and president of Old Friends, made the announcement today.

The 21-year-old stallion comes to Old Friends from Adena Springs in Paris, KY., and has been generously donated by Adena owner Frank Stronach along with an endowment.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Always liked Touch Gold. That Belmont was vintage Durkin, but Dave Johnson trumped him in that one. Epic battle there - Free House, Silver Charm and Touch Gold...

Happy second retirement to Touch Gold.

Will miss seeing both of these mares race, particularly Discreet Marq who I've been following for several years.
Happy retirement girls...

I saw a comment about SI on another site and was looking for confirmation, but couldn't find any so thanks for that. I have to say the outfit that owns him made a huge mistake not accepting that 8 million they were offered for him last year after his first 2 blowout wins.

As a fan of Moonshine Mullin I hope he winds up somewhere nice and has a good career in the shed...

SOCIAL INCLUSION reportedly back on @GulfstreamPark track training today. Rontos star previously retired in December

I wonder who is training him?
