Hawkbill retires: popular globetrotter a prolific winner for Godolphin
Hawkbill, one of the most popular horses to carry Godolphin’s royal blue colours, has been retired after a highly successful racing career.

The son of Kitten’s Joy won 10 of his 24 starts and raced in six countries over four seasons stretching from 2015.

Charlie Appleby, his trainer, paid warm tribute today to the bold-running six-year-old, whose biggest wins were the G1 Coral-Eclipse at Sandown Park at three and the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan two years later.

Good Samaritan is retiring to WinStar for 2019. I don't know if he will race again. He hasn't worked since before running 7th in the Woodbine Mile on 9/15.

Not really Retirement but didn't know where to put this, this is article is from DRF:

Multiple stakes winner Silent Bird underwent successful surgery Saturday to stabilize a sesamoid injury sustained in a workout Jan. 24 at Santa Anita.

Trainer Mark Glatt said Silent Bird will remain at his stable at Santa Anita while recovering.

“It will be a two- or three-month process before we feel he’s out of the woods,” Glatt said. “He’s taking good care of himself. The surgery went terrific.”

Owned by Robbie Norman, Silent Bird has won 6 of 9 starts and earned $316,800. Silent Bird won the Grade 3 Midnight Lute Stakes at Santa Anita on Dec. 30.

Silent Bird is considered a stud prospect in 2019, Glatt said.

Another article from DRF:

Silent Bird, the multiple stakes winner who sustained a sesamoid injury in a workout at Santa Anita on Wednesday, is scheduled to undergo surgery this weekend, trainer Mark Glatt said Friday.

Glatt said the surgery will stabilize the injured leg with a plate.

“He doesn’t act like a hurt horse,” Glatt said. “He takes good care of himself.

“He seems to have good blood flow. As long as he has good blood flow to his feet, and we can keep him comfortable, we’ll probably be okay.”

A 6-year-old by Summer Bird, Silent Bird has won 6 of 9 starts and earned $316,800 for owner Robbie Norman. Silent Bird won the Damascus Stakes in 2016 and the Grade 3 Midnight Lute Stakes at 6 1/2 furlongs on Dec. 30.

After the surgery, Silent Bird faces a lengthy recovery period and could go to stud in 2019.

“Hopefully, there will be a place for him,” Glatt said. “He’s got all the attributes you want, other than an abbreviated career.”

You can find both of these articles on DRFs website

He also hasn't done any workouts since his injury, so he is more likely retired as the injury happened in January and both articles were published roughly a few days after his surgery.
