Does anybody have any updates on him?

We know he retired to Diamond B Farm for 2016 after a successful career. Apparently he “didn’t breed any mares” in 2017, apparently showing no interest which is ironic because of how he got his name, and the last thing I found was a Facebook post saying that he had been sent to Dubai for a vacation/refreshening to “help change his mind” or something.

But what does that mean? Forgive me if I’m being stupid but what does Dubai have that will make Pants On Fire like the ladies? Why Dubai? Why not just put him in the pasture and see if he ever gets interested?

If he wants to pull a War Emblem like that then I’m sure Old Friends or Kentucky Horse Park would love to have him since he’s Pants On Fire.

He had 3 starts in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of 2018, finishing 9th, 12th and 14th.

I posted about this in December 2017 when someone else was looking for him.

But the story went:
Per Diamond B Farm owner Glenn Brock, they could not get him to breed mares. He was checked by specialists but never showed interest. Has been retired to a friend's farm but I don't have any other info regarding a potential 2nd (not stud) career.

So I searched more and found that weird entry on Wikipedia that said, "Pants On Fire did not breed any mares his first season, as he showed no interest in breeding. He was sent to Dubai for some time off, and will return when he begins to show interest in mares."

But searching the forums someone said he worked at Del Mar in July 2017.

IMHO, the owners just didn't want to say, yeah he wouldn't breed mares so we sold him to whoever wanted him and he is now going to race in Saudi Arabia. They don't want the backlash of sending a 10yo stallion back to the track and how many people really know?
