8.2 earthquake near Fiji

An 8.2 is huge. Fiji and Tonga were lucky that the 'quake was so deep.
There's been a lot of shakin' going on lately along the western side of the Pacific's Ring of Fire. :shock:

Oh, I know.
My father was USAF. We were on Okinawa for the big Alaska quake in the 60's. We got a 4 or 5 foot remnant of a tidal wave. Bothered some boats and the northeast beaches. Could have been worse.
