Of course, Della. It's major, major surgery. Sending prayers for strength and healing, to power her through the bad part, and not to lose faith.

Other than the pneumonia, it sounds like she is doing very well considering. I hope the upswing continues.

Would like to think that progress is being made?

Saw this from Toga this morning, thought Bal would enjoy it...

Good news for Ballerina. She posted on her Facebook that she came home on Feb. 26, and posted again on March 2.

"Things are going good. Visited all 5 of my doctors - got a clean bill of health from each. Walking remains a challenge - using combinations of cane, walker, and wheelchair. My appetite has come back somewhat - eating a little 5 - 6 times a day. Depression has pretty much left, and I am doing more and more for myself.
One thing I learned yesterday which rattled me greatly. Bill never said anything but the surgeon did. The first week after surgery when I was so out of it with meds, I nearly tripped into the afterlife TWICE. Bill was called at 2 & 3 o'clock in the morning to get up to the hospital, also a priest, and the surgeon. Bill said the surgeon worked like a warrior to bring me back from the brink Scary to think about it.
I must tell you about Nurse Ratched. Soon!
It's good getting back to the normal life."

Tell Your Heart to Beat Again
By Danny Gokey

"Beginning
Just let that word wash over you
It's alright now
Love's healing hands have pulled you through
So get back up, take step one
Leave the darkness, feel the sun
Cause your story's far from over
And your journey's just begun...."

Keep strong Bal!!! Continued prayers for a steady recovery!!

This song is a favorite of mine and I thought it was appropriate for what you and Bill have been going through!!
