Nice to see that you were able to type. I actually have an auto-immune of the bile ducts and the liver- which they keep me on a bile salt to prevent scarring in the liver and the bile flowing. Prayers for you!

I would say good luck, but I think you'll be just fine. Regardless, you've had/have my prayers Nothing but the best thoughts and prayers for you - from one b*tch to another.

Ballerina posted this on her FB page today:

"It's me - It was rough last week with the insertion of the bile drain being the absolute worst of all 4 procedures. What a painful SOB it is.
The really big surgery is tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. Surgeon figures 4 - 6 hours. I'll have Bill call Tammy with the results so she can update y'all. Bill doesn't do anything computer.
Please pray for me and Billy and The Kids. To tell you that I'm not scared would be way too much bravado. I love you all a whole big bunch and put a lot of stock in your prayers and good wishes.."

May your surgery go smoothly and quickly, and the results be the best news possible, Bal.
May love and prayers lift you past this ordeal, and have you back with your family (two- and four-legged) soon.

A friend of Ballerina's posted this on her FB page - good news!

Update:
Just spoke to Bill - the Whipple is done - no cancer anywhere other than the tumor! She is still in recovery, but all is looking good! Surgery was about 5 hours - not sure if they did another transfusion, anesthesia kicks her butt, and they will keep her in ICU tonight, but hopefully, recovery can start now!

Well, that sure is great news! Wishing you a quick recovery Bal. Just keep thinking about those nice warm days at Saratoga coming up - best medicine ever...
