Haha, those are cute pictures! :) They have that ... WHAT is she doing to me now?... look.

On another note, I think I remember you saying you used breakaway or stretchy collars on the little darlings when they were puppies. Do you still prefer that type of collar on adult dogs, too? I was thinking of getting one for Riley.

Joey & Tuffy wore breakaways as young pups. They gradually got out of the habit of chewing or grabbing at each other's collars. They wear buckle leather collars now with appropriate I.D. They're never unattended outside. They refuse to be outside unless one of us is with them, sp we pretty much have an eye on them all the time. If we ever see them grabbing at each other's collars, we'll remove them. I'm always concerned about a dog not having immediately recognizable I.D. on them God forbid they should get loose.

Joey got another 4 pts. toward his championship this weekend. He now has 8 pts. We're heading to the Tarheel circuit in Raleigh, NC next week. There are a couple of majors there. Just hope all those entered show up so the majors don't break.

These photos were taken yesterday.

I don't know all that much about judging dogs at shows- just an observer- but-

Joey has a beautiful topline, IMO.

Bal! I didn't know you showed Ridgebacks! We have 2 Ridgebacks - not show dogs, we adopted them both from Ridgeback Rescue (RRUS) and my husband has been a volunteer for them for about 10 years.

Yours are such beautiful hounds!

I attached a picture of ours sleeping in bed with their little brother (Bongo) who we adopted in 2013 (Pug/Boston Terrier mix). Tsavo is the big one on the right. He's 10 now. Iggy is the smaller one in the middle; he's 6.

What a coincidence. Ridgebacks are great dogs. Wonderful that you could adopt two rescues and give them a loving and secure home. Thanks for the photo. My husband and I are one of the founding members of RRUS. Great organization.

Oh my goodness that IS a coincidence, and yes, they are a great group! :D

Our Ridgies are countersurfers. Big time! But we just love them to death.

Here are a few better pics of the handsome boys:

How wonderful, and you have a "Bug" as part of your group- I was offered one years ago- and almost took it- but my Boston was only about a year then- and quite the handful at that point.

Serena :D We call Bongo a "Bug" but I thought if I posted that nobody would understand what I meant! We adopted him last year from morons who weren't caring for him  and who bought him in a parking lot somewhere here in NH. They called him a "miniature Pit Bull". Our vet took one look at him and said "That's a Bug" and it was the first time we heard of such a thing.

You have a Boston Terrier? They are the cutest things - but our little mutt is a maniac. Now we know why some people call them "terrorists" instead of "terriers".

Congrats! He looks so great.

What are their longer showing names? I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but I can't recall now.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!

It's hard to believe that Joey & Tuffy are almost 2-years old - their birthday is May 16th.

Their breeder recently bred another litter. I thought you might enjoy seeing pics of that litter.

Tuffy came in season. We couldn't take her on our trip to my high school reunion and then the trek up to Saratoga for 2 weeks - where we are now. We expect to be back home in Virginia on the 19th. Joey will be very happy to hook up with his sister again. Meanwhile, he tries to keep busy.

If Tuffy has come into season, I'd be careful using the term "hook up with his sister."
