Runnymede Farm

Foaling season has begun brilliantly at Runnymede with a smashing colt by Quality Road out of a half sister to the dam of G1 winner & multi-millionaire Collected. This handsome bay was born on Saturday, the first foal out of our winning Lonhro mare Koala Queen, who is a loving mother to her son. Congratulations to our partners Peter Callahan and Chris Zinkhan on the new arrival and we can't wait to see him grow. Koala Queen is due to be bred back to More Than Ready; her stakes-winning half brother Woodwin W was by More Than Ready, so this is a nick that works well. Koala Queen also is a half sister to group stakes performers Las Venturas and Deep Sound

Adorable filly, and I'm delighted to see a Deep Impact foaled in England. Wish we had more here in the US. Congratulations to Stacelita on the birth of her beautiful filly, and to all the human connections.

She is owned by Teruya Yoshida, one of the owners of Shadai Stallion Station where Deep Impact stands. I would imagine that they hadn't intended on shipping her back to England once she got to Japan in 2014... until Soul Stirring hit the track - they probably booked a return visit to Frankel the next day!
