Yeah, you're thinking of Smarty Jones. He stood his 2005-2008 for $100,000, went private for 2009, then stood for an advertised fee of $10,000 in 2010 :shock:

Even as a turf horse, that's lower than I thought they'd put him. I figured around $30k or so.

Yeah, seems like a bargain to me. I wish him well. I've always loved turf racing but, for his sake, I hope he throws dirt runners too.
