It's too bad that the colt was never able to run another race. Leaves potential breeders weighing the fabulous pedigree and hint of talent vs. apparent soundness issues so severe that they couldn't even get that second start. :?
I wonder if Stonestreet will support him with its own mares?

Well-bred sons of champion mares that could barely race due to soundness issues (knees, breathing issues - both hereditary)...a dime a dozen.

California: Dads Caps to stand at Legacy Ranch
Dads Caps, the millionaire who won consecutive runnings of the Grade 1 Carter Handicap at Aqueduct in 2014 and 2015, will stand at Legacy Ranch in Clements Calif., this year.

The stallion is owned by Vince Scuderi, who owned and bred Dads Caps. Dick Barton, who has invested heavily in California breeding in recent, plans to extensively support Dads Caps at stud, according to statement released Friday.

Dads Caps will stand for $5,000.
