Can I just say that I think raising Kitten's Joy fee to $100,000 is going a little too far to be honest.

-Langfuhr continues to be the most bang-for-the-buck stallion in KY.

Agreed about Paynter

There is no way all of the Winstar stallions fit in their new and improved facility, does anyone know where the overflow are put? They are starting to have a puppy-mill esque vibe

Winstar has the new big barn where most of the stallions live. Adjacent to that is another barn with about seven to eight stalls. They put the "overflow" in there. At the moment this smaller barn is empty because all the shuttlers are in other countries.

So in the main barn, they have Distorted Humor, Bodemeister, Take Charge Indy, PioneeroftheNile, Kodiak Cowboy, US Ranger, Tiznow, Colonel John, Super Saver, Paynter, etc. The other stallions like More than Ready, Drosselmeyer (who is in Brazil), and Artie will be housed in the smaller barn when they return.

Something I didn't know: Revolutionary is still in training.

ETA: I also think Paynter's stud fee is crazy. I actually wonder if it is by design though? Maybe they want to price him in a way to keep his books small. As for Kitten's Joy, he is leading the general sire list, so the bump is well-earned.

Has it been announced that Giralamo will stand in KY this year, for a fee of $12,500?

He isn't in Kentucky to begin with, and since he isn't listed on their open house it doesn't sound like they are planning on moving him - unless maybe they are waiting for some reason

I would think in the next 2 seasons he will ship south, unless the Ontario government steps up and fixes the mess they made with the racing/breeding industry. A lot of farms that stood stallions are getting out of that area of the business. Norse ridge comes to mind. 3 years ago, they stood about 6 stallions, now none. Its pretty devastating.

On a different note (sorry to go off topic) Does anyone in the Aurora area know what Adena North built in front of their stallion barn? It totally ruins the view of the barn heading south on Bayview.

Gainesway fees - Tapit raised to $150,000.
Corinthian not listed - I was afraid of this - does anyone know where he's going?
