Does this irritate anyone or it is just me? There is a chain around the statue for a reason and I find this mildly offensive.

For some, it make it all the more irresistible.

I saw where this same group of people also sat on the statue of John Henry. The person that took the picture has turned it in to the proper "authorities" whoever that may be.

You don't have to buy anything to enter the contest to meet Zenyatta. It is one entry per person, here is the link.

I nearly bought the sticker since it's for two great causes...then I read it's only open to US citizens. Grrr to living in Canada at the moment. Totally bummed. But, good luck to anyone that takes part!

Z has that focused, attentive look that my dog gets when I'm giving him a treat. :)

Love the great fillies and mares. Always have. So glad Zenyatta's owners still love her so much and visit her often. And delighted to see that peppermints are available when that great mare asks. :D

Very handsome head shot. You can tell by her flared nostrils and distinct veining that this was taken right after a race.

she's awfully clean though unless this was after a synth race, i dont recall synch kickback being is... "dirty", i guess? as an aside when you mentioned the veins i looked at the pic a little closer as i'd missed it the first time; what a cool detail adding to the picture. good eye!
