Resurrecting this ancient, long-forgotten thread.

2018 is Looking like Kitten’s Joy’s best year yet. This year alone, off the top of my head, he’s had:

Roaring Lion, a multiple GI winner in Europe.
Oscar Performance, a GI winner and track record setter.
Hawkbill, GI winner in Dubai.
Sadler’s Joy, GII winner and multiple GI-placed.
Have At It, stakes winner and possible runner for the BC Juvenile Turf.
Henley’s Joy, GSP stakes winner and possible runner for the BC Juvenile Turf.
Divisidero, GIII winner and GI-placed.
Linburgh’s Kitten, set a track record at Turfway Park.

And this is of course not counting what these runners did in previous years. You could also throw in Oscar Nominated, who is winless in 2018 but continues to try his best and hit the board in nice races. Just really impressive. I can’t wait to see what Hill ‘n Dale is able to do with him.

Hawkbill has been retired. I suspect that his 7th-place finish at Woodbine in the Northern Dancer spurred the decision.

Adding to KJ's SW list: 2x G2 winner Catapult and SW Lafta.

Oh my Lord, I must’ve accidentally deleted Catapult off my list. I swear I remember typing it out, lol.

Will never stop expressing my admiration for Ramsey's dedication to this stallion. I know I know, not every big stallion station has the time, money or patience to invest in a stud, but maybe the Ramseys should give a course on 'how to 'Make' a stallion'. Maybe we'd have a wider gene pool, less bottlenecks and all three founding sirelines alive and well if everyone who believed in their stallion set off to curate an extremely careful book of mares to produce the right matches and results.

A source I found said that since his progeny have been racing, Kitten’s Joy has had a runner in every Breeders’ Cup. Here’s Kitten’s Joy’s Breeders’ Cup runners for the 2018 edition.
