Meydan: Reynaldothewizard tries to win Dubawi Stakes for third time
http://www.drf.com/news/meydan-reynaldo ... third-time

The fantastically named Reynaldothewizard, a former Dubai Shaheen winner, is 11. Also running on the card are fellow group/grade I winners Sole Power (10) and Gordon Lord Byron (9)!

Reynaldo ran down Muaraab near the wire to win the Dubawii for his third time. He is such a cool racehorse, and an enduring credit to his sire, Speightstown. Wild Dude ran third, but wasn't close to the top two.
Unfortunately, neither Sole Power nor Gordon Lord Byron ran well in the turf sprint on the straight course. IMHO, it may be time for those two classy geldings to find loving retirement homes.

O M G...TVG just showed Caton Bredar's new "co-host, " a two-foot-long, bright green lizard (maybe an iguana?) who has made himself comfortable hanging out on the stone wall right next to her. And Mike Joyce just dubbed the TVG-colored reptile 'Reynaldothelizard.'
Cool.

Wow, that old bird pushed the throttle to the roof in the stretch. I'm a fan.

What a credit to his conditioners for having him in such great shape at this age. Though only racing 2-3 times a year must help as well!

Now 10 year old, Barrel Knot (Freespool - Benedictine by Bien Bien), won a low level claiming race at Golden Gate today. He's done a good job picking up enough checks to pay the bills over the 9 years he's been racing.
Starts: 88
Firsts: 15
Seconds: 9
Thirds: 18
Earnings: $322,587

8, unless there's a track out there that's racing yearlings.
