Pretty sure we don't have one. I don't follow steeplechase racing much myself but the people on here that do can post here so the rest of us can try to keep track.

The time to indulge your love of jumps racing is early mornings on TVG. I generally don't get up early enough to see many, but there must be a dozen tracks from Ireland to Scotland with hurdle/steeplechase racing. :D

There are 5 jumps races at Te Aroha in New Zealand tomorrow including the Pakuranga Hunt Cup often a good formguide to our biggest jumps race the Great Northern Steeplechase in a couple of weeks

I hope y'all enjoy it.
Under the category of there's something out there for everybody, but not for me.

A lifelong horse racing fan who would play a lot more golf if hurdles was my only choice to watch, just can't do it.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Thanks for creating this thread, Mylute. I'm a huge National Hunt fan (prefer it to the Flat, as you might have guessed from my username), so I'll be frequenting it. The UK and Irish jumps season will be gearing up over the next month or so- can't wait.

If anyone has any queries about British or Irish jumps racing then don't hesitate to ask.

~ It doesn't say what the accident was but it doesn't seem like it was jump related.

The jump season “proper” hasn’t started yet so most horses are in pre-training. It sounds like it was some sort of stable / yard accident. They normally say if it was training related.

Doc Cebu by Hard Spun won the International Gold Cup Timber Stakes at 3 1/2 miles yesterday at Great Meadow in The Plains, VA. He is 12-10-1-1 since switching to the hurdles. I have been posting his results in the Hard Spun Foals thread under Horse Followings. I have posted video replays also . I'll post the video of this race when it is available...usually takes a week for them to put it online. Just found this thread this week, so thought I would cross post.

We saw Doc Cebu win at the Genesee Valley Hunt Club races. It was his second win of this race in a row. An up and coming star.

Very cool! And yes, I had noticed that he won the same race last year. I think he was timber champion last year. I wish I could see him one of these days. This last race was here in Virginia and I would have gone if I had known he would be running there far enough in advance to make plans. Really happy to see him doing well. He has really found his niche.
