It's not very often that I'll tout a tout, but if you're lucky enough to be at Saratoga make a point of being at The Porch at 11AM any racing day and give a listen to the Ragozin Sheets Jonathan Hardoon conduct a FREE handicapping seminar. As good an opinion as you'll find and the FREE entry fee for comparison sake is $30 when he does a seminar on the West Coast.

Good luck and enjoy the Toga meet, hopefully the weather is as good as the horses are!
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Top trainers well stocked with juveniles for Saratoga
By David Grening

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – In a span of nine days last summer, the horses who would go on to be voted champion 2-year-old male and champion 2-year-old female debuted at Saratoga.

Good article, very tempted to post the whole thing here for easy reference going forward?

Ticket and seating prices for TOGA

https://www.saratoga.com/race-track/tickets/

I'm stoked - strolled over to ticket window on Tuesday, I got good seats for every Saturday including Whitney and Travers, Sunday's Coaching Club American Oaks and Sunday and Monday closing weekend. Yesterday got my parking pass and access sticker to backside and Oklahoma. Life is good.

Sounds like you're going to have a blast this Summer, Bal!
Thinking of planning a day trip down there, dunno when or with whom though.

"nuff said"???? OH, I'm not allowed to say anything more about my time in TOGA? OK - didn't mean to bore you. Just thought some people would be interested in the different prices for seat tickets. Used to be Travers was a different price. Then Whitney became a different price. Now - almost every Saturday seat prices are a different price. But I shall leave it to you on the West Coast to post all things TOGA even though I'm here in TOGA for the meet. So looking forward to seeing Monomoy Girl on Sunday - the distaff version of Gun Runner.

Whoa girl, for all the crazy BS I write here that you could rip me about, this wasn't one of those times.

It was intended to mean that no matter the seats, no matter the horses, no matter the weather, no matter the gambling, when you look back just a year or two when attending the Saratoga meet was doubtful due to your physical maladies it really is a pleasure to read that "life is good" coming from you.

Congrats and enjoy!

Well, normally "nuff said" said by someone other than the person first saying means you've read enough. We all tend to think that someone fully understands our meaning when we write briefly. Thanks for taking the time to explain. Life is good - living well is the best revenge. Health? It's been wonky, but it's always better when I get to the SPAHhhhhhh.

It means nothing further needs to be said because of mutual understanding of the topic at hand... or so my faulty opinion has erroneously led me to believe.

Anyway Saratoga rocks. Enjoy your days there.

I'm going to try awfully hard. Still not over the disappointment of Justify not coming here. :( :P

I hear you... although I wasn't able to go for Travers Day anyhow this year. I'm glad I got to see Pharoah anyway... might be my only chance to have seen a TC winner.

I am going to get to see Monomoy Girl on Sunday, so that's exciting. When BdO gets to TOGA, I'll wander by Steve's barn and see if I can get some photos of hm. I'll bring a box of donuts and wear my Gun Runner shirt and hat.

Monomoy Girl vs. Midnight Bisou might be one of the best match-ups we'll see at The Spa this summer. 8-)

very much looking forward to seeing southern phantom run tomorrow - what a striking and very unique looking runner - hope he does well - he will be fun to follow in his racing career - - so glad racing is back at Saratoga today - love the place - it looks just glorious there - the trees.... heavenly - we live closer to del mar but give me Saratoga every time - on the bucket list for sure.
