I presume that Athena is getting significant weight relief from her British races?

5 lbs from most of her races but only 3 pounds off from her latest at Curragh where she carried 124 to a third place finish.
She is trying lasix for the first time in her 9 race career where she has compiled a 9-1-2-1 record.
She is listed as third choice at 9/2 on the morning line.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I'll be betting THEWAYIAM

Got sucked in by listening to GrahamMotion radio interview, he sure does sound upbeat about this one.
"you'd be foolish to bet against her"
"i'm perfectly fine with my replacement rider for Ortiz, that Johnny is no slouch"
"don't worry about the slow works, those were intentional maintenance works, she's fit"

Oh.....and she's 10/1 on the morning line!

It was a romp for Athena. Thewayiam 2nd, Chipolata 3rd.

If I'd been in a betting mood, I would have considered Athena. She was stunning in the post parade, tall, prancing and neck arched like a colt. Not a bad payday for crossing The Pond. :D
