Distaff
Abel Tasman
Elate
Unique Bella
Monomoy Girl
Red Ruby

Things sure have changed for the Distaff since Kennedy posted that list in mid-August. Unique Bella is retired, Elate is out for the year, I've seen nothing about Red Ruby being back on the work tab, and ATM Abel Tasman may not be completely healthy.
With that race now looking wide open except for Monomoy Girl, I wonder if Coolmore will put one of their fillies on the dirt?

Red Ruby worked 4 furlongs at Keeneland on 9/7, but nothing since.

Imperial Hint is prob the closest thing to a "lock" this year, if there is one

Where's Kennedy?
Really busy with a million things :)

I am really looking forward to the BC though but now the Distaff has really retreated in terms of the quality of the event. Potentially it's one for the 3yo's to dominate? Or maybe it's just wide open.

I think it's early because preps do change things but Oscar Performance in the Mile is my lock or Marley's Freedom in the FM Sprint.

Yes, he's doing very well but I'm all over Limousine Liberal for the upset.

Speaking of sprints...Disco Partner won today's Belmont Turf Sprint Invitational Stakes for his 2nd straight win in that race. I know the Turf Sprint is always very competitive, but I like that the little grey is coming into BC weekend in very sharp shape. :D

Fourstar Crook (Freud) just won the G1 Flower Bowl at Belmont in pretty dominating fashion. Think I'd like to put her in my Top five for the F&M Turf. :D

Sounds like he has been losing a lot of weight since the JCGC, and of course it doesn't help with Rick being unwell. Hope they both feel better soon.

In my opinion, the only locks are Catalina Cruiser and Roy H

Not sure if either of those are locks, IMO, or strong locks at least.

Roy H has to deal with Imperial Hint.

Catalina Cruiser is a stronger lock, but he has to deal with Whitmore, and Battle of Midway could bounce back.

And depending on where they go, they could potentially meet up with Promises Fulfilled and/or Mind Your Biscuits.

I like Catholic Boy and Biscuits in the Classic, Restless Rider in the Juv Fillies, Game Winner in the Juv Colts and Cal Cruiser in Dirt Mile
