Justify/Restoring Hope...quite the duo

Justify/Restoring Hope...quite the duo

Maybe I missed it, but I haven't read or heard much about this. Restoring Hope reminded me of a Navy destroyer protecting an aircraft carrier on it's voyage. Florent Geroux kept his horse in a very strategic position until he ran out of gas...Don't take it that I feel Justify needed this. He's simply a monster on the track.

Just to whet your appetite some, you should go over to PaceAdv where they've taken it to another level as they caught Javier and Florent discussing things before the race was even over!

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

how much can I realistically charge per tin foil hat? I got bills to pay and these fine folks need the protection

Thanks for the thread. I wanted to get insight of others and I'm glad that it's being talked about somewhere.

It's being discussed on this forum too in the Belmont Watchalong thread. Was mentioned by a few posters right after the race, but the discussion really starts around page 20/21

Huh, I hadn't even considered how unusual it was that they announced blinkers off well after betting had begun on the race. Just add it onto the pile I guess!

Justify shot out of the gate like a missile. He was so much the best, and the overhead to me makes it even more clear no one was catching him.

Ran one of the fastest half miles in the Derby and still won. Good Magic and Audible had their opportunity to catch him and didn't.

Had a bruised hoof and had a long sustained duel with the 2YO/BCJ champ and still came out on top.

Forced to go wire-to-wire in the Belmont and still won.

Rain, shine, pace or no pace, it doesn't matter. No excuses. Still wins.

I don't think Justify looks the type that needs a bodyguard. ;) That's like saying Iron Mike Tyson needed one back in the mid-1980's. Justify is justiTRUTH.

He went from padawan learner to Jedi master in 112 days.

anyone here read that New York post story about the Belmont yesterday. very interesting. especially the comments from RH's owner. he was livid about the ride his horse got yesterday.

What part of "he was rank" are these people choosing to ignore?

I dare you to watch it again and not at least give that some consideration!
