I'm not sure Mike will be able to resist if he feels a monster beneath him, if Baffert's recent comments about Smith are anything to go by.

I hope Mike doesnt start wrapping up as soon as Justify is in the lead because that would open the doors for a Real Quiet/Victory Gallop type race and I can't handle that type of pain again LOL

well if it is close, the jockeys that want to beat justify better not let him see them coming - if its close, you have to try to pull a Touch Gold type of win - stay wide away from him and try to surprise him at the wire - McCarron knew that was what he needed to do to beat Silver Charm - and its probably the only way to beat justify if the race is close.

It very nearly worked for Bravazo and Tenfold in the Preakness, certainly.

With how he rode Abel Tasman I really don't think gearing down will be on his mind with Justify lol

With the likely fast track and if Justify can return to his Santa Anita Derby form, I say he wins a bare minimum of 5 lengths.

But I'll play against him for this race knowing he has own stablemate as a rabbit and Vino's rabbit in Noble Indy. I say Vino catches Justify and wins by 2 lengths. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer. And I'm picking my enemies today. Not personal, Justify. It's only business.

Hope Stark is right and I'm wrong. Then again, I don't mind being right either if I can win $100 from a $20 bet.
Rock Hard Ten. Free House. Soul Of The Matter. Lit de Justice. Zenyatta. Justify. Cigar. Ghostzapper. Lava Man. Silver Charm.

I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago - Baffert saying fans should come out to Belmont, they were going to see something special.

i'd say that was very special. he was totally geared down and mike was never worried. so many races so close together, an undefeated TC winner, effortlessly (save the preakness but even pharoah looked bleh in the derby).

I think that's a winner, congrats.
Cash and prizes are in the mail.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.
