A rather amazing race by Catholic Boy, passed by the undefeated Analyze It on the outside in the stretch and it looked like the race was over. Catholic Boy down on the rail then checked (bumped by AI?) and pulled around to Analyze It's outside and passed him in the shadow of the wire. Glad to see this very good horse back on turf. Analyze it may have hit his distance limitations, Catholic Boy went by him a little too easily to think otherwise IMHO. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

It almost looked like Analyze It and/or his jock thought they had it won and kind of eased up.

I was shocked---thought Catholic Boy was done and then whammo , just a great and gutsy race for Catholic Boy--it was fun to watch

That was. . surprising!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I remember Haskin was very high on Catholic Boy at the start of the year. Glad to see he's making a comeback.

i just watched the replay--- i still cannot believe how Catholic Boy, after having to steady, then angling to the outside, ran down
Analyze It. that was awesome.

Exactly how I feel about it.

Way impressive performance by the winner. Hard to tell what to make of Analyze It; wonder if he just hit a wall? Breeding could suggest either way. I have been crazy high on that one all year.

I was rooting for Analyze It, but Catholic Boy was a deserving winner. Very determined effort.
