Instilled Regard Much the Best in Lecomte Stakes

In a career that has seen Jerry Hollendorfer saddle more than 32,000 starters and over 7,300 winners, new experiences within the sport of Thoroughbred racing are almost a thing of the past where the Hall of Fame trainer is concerned.

I'm still going to keep an eye on Principe Guillherme who came in 2d - Asmussen trained, Florent piloting and Portuguese for Prince William. Tapit sired by a Grade I stakes winning mare by Street Sense. Bred and owned by Three Chimneys. - might be too much to ask for, but may be an up and comer like Gunner.

I have been eagerly awaiting the return of Instilled Regard after his tough-luck runner-up finish at Los Al vs the highly regarded pair of McKinzie and Solomini. He has a beautiful pedigree being by the late Arch and out of a daughter of the venerable Heavenly Prize.

I hope he runs back in the Risen Star.
