But she's been racing in Dubai and training in California ;)
I saw comments on Bloodhorse the other day saying she was out already a few days ago...
Just dug a little, it seems both of Baffert's horses meant to run at Prairie Meadows were scratched before shipping out.
Cue the conspiracy theorists

If Baffert still wants to run Dr. Dorr in the Suburban, maybe it was a shipping issue? Since Bob already had Hoppertunity shipping to Belmont, Dr. Dorr could travel along with him.
Perhaps difficulties trying to arrange multiple flights left Rayya without a ride?

I read that Baffert was having second thoughts about 1) the heat in the Midwest and 2) night racing.

She is a gorgeous big filly. I hope she stays in form and makes the Distaff this fall.

"And all the horses broke well". . . Huh? Nikki almost went down and came up running rank to the clubhouse turn. And you know he saw it, you could "hear" the pause before he spoke.

Nice return for Elate, she sizzled that 4th quarter.

I’m a huge fan of Elate.
It’s always nice to see Claiborne get a good one.

Unsurprisingly, Lady Aurelia has been retired.

After her lackluster performance at Royal Ascot, a track she has done so well at in the past, I thought she might have decided that racing was no longer what she wanted to do.

Going Out, a Tapit filly out of Forever Together, finished far off the board in the Lake George at Saratoga toay. She's a tall, leggy and nearly white gal, but she just doesn't appear to have any kick in the stretch.
This breeding the best to the best is a tricky...and sometimes disappointing...business.

Wonder Gadot Fires Bullet in Preparation for Travers
Daughter of Medaglia d'Oro worked four furlongs over Saratoga's main track.
From the article:
"The more her people have asked of her, the more Wonder Gadot has improved. And in her first workout in preparation for her expected start in the Aug. 25 Travers Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course, the daughter of Medaglia d'Oro showed her readiness to take on male rivals once more when she fired a bullet four-furlong breeze in :48.07 over the Saratoga main track Aug. 10.
Wonder Gadot is coming off consecutive wins against the opposite sex in the June 30 Queen's Plate Stakes and July 24 Prince of Wales Stakes—the first two legs of the Canadian Triple Crown."

The nomination of Unique Bella to the Pacific Classic may end up being a tease but, if all goes well, Wonder Gadot is definitely running in the Travers. Without monster Justify in the race, IMHO she can be competitive against colts like Good Magic and Gronkowski.

Gronkowski worries me. The rest not so much. Still wish they'd gone for the Canadian Triple.

Or the Alabama. I don't quite understand this placement in the big picture.

They still think they have a chance to knock off Monomoy Girl for divisional honors:
With Oaks heroine and four-time grade 1 winner Monomoy Girl slated to bypass the 1 1/4-mile Alabama Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Aug. 18 in favor of a possible start in the Sept. 22 Cotillion Stakes over 1 1/16 miles at Parx Racing, Casse and Barber figured there was more to be gained by taking a swing in the Travers than going in the Alabama, where they wouldn't even get to make a statement against the divisional leader.
